Roll up bakers!
Perfect for the beginner bakers, this class will be a hands on class mastering the basic skills and techniques of baking. During the classes you will learn the classics like Victoria sponge, sticky Toffee pudding and Chocolate brownies. You will be using the methods and skills to become the greatest of home bakers and each class you will be able to take away your bakes to share with your friends and family.
Week 1: Victoria sponge
Week 2: Easter Chocolate brownie
Week 3: Cheesecake Easter eggs
Week 4:Lemon and Blueberry Swiss Roll
Week 5: Sticky Toffe
Week 6: Choux pastry
Week 7: Cookies
Week 8: Tarte au citron
A word from Rebekah:
Originally from the Rhondda Valleys I grew up in a family who just loved food. Every Sunday we would all get together at my grandmas house and that’s where my love of baking began. She taught me all my basic baking tips and she had me totally hooked on baking right from the start. I started my career being a pastry chef at Hilton Cardiff at just 16 years old. I now work in Cardiff’s only 5* Hotel and run my own home baking business from home. In 2018, I took part in c4's Great British Bake off the Professionals and it gave me a buzz to learn and share more skills. I’ve always had a massive love for baking and I hope to pass that love on to you guys. See you there!
This course is held at LetThemSeeCake shop and classroom (entrance on Landsdowne Road). Public on-street car parking is available nearby but we cannot guarantee a parking space. There is a bus stop outside the Bakery, reachable by bus numbers 13, 17, 18, 64, X1 from Cardiff city centre.

The course is generally suitable for adults over 16 years of age
Joining instructions will be issued 2 weeks prior to the course date.
The venue reserves the right to cancel or change the date of the course without notice, however as much contact will be sought with attendees and alternative dates will be found in this unlikely event.
Please make us aware of any special dietary requirements for refreshments at time of booking, note we use Wheat flour and Gluten is present throughout the bakery building.
Payment & Cancellation - Full payment is required at time of booking. Cancellation for any reason must be made at least 14 days prior to the course date for a full refund. A 50% refund can be obtained up until 7 days prior to the course date. For cancellations made within 7 days of the course date a single date transfer will be offered, but no refund will be available. Transfers must be used within 6 months of the original course date.
