LetThemSeeCake are pleased to welcome the fantastic Emma Bevan from FfolkyFfelt.
Join us for this very popular workshop – creating a needle-felted Hare, perfect for Spring!
We will be needle felting a sculpture using the core wool method and barbed needles.
The barbed needles are used to fuse the fibres and sculpt the wool into your preferred
You can choose from a snow-hare, or a brown hare, or perhaps try a more abstract type
and use hand-dyed wool instead?
You will be using, and finding out about, native hand-dyed wool, and the different
methods of felt-making.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, as Emma will be on hand with models, resources
and 1-2-1 support for each participant.
At the end of the session you will have a finished handmade felt hare to take away with
These workshops are fun, informative, and demonstrate mindfulness too.
Please do bring photographs or books to work from if you can, there will also be
resources to use.
A wide range of materials are available for you to choose from.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase a kit to go home and continue to needle
Places are limited to ten participants per event and must be booked in advance.
Please bring a packed lunch.

This course is held at LetThemSeeCake Shop & Classroom, (entrance on Lansdowne Road) Public on-street car parking is available nearby but we cannot guarantee a parking space. There is a bus stop outside the Bakery, reachable by bus numbers 13, 17, 18, 64, X1 from Cardiff city centre.

The venue reserves the right to cancel or change the date of the course without notice, however as much contact will be sought with attendees and alternative dates will be found in this unlikely event.
Please make us aware of any special dietary requirements for refreshments at time of booking, note we use Wheat flour and Gluten is present throughout the bakery building.
Payment & Cancellation - Full payment is required at time of booking. Cancellation for any reason must be made at least 14 days prior to the course date for a full refund. A 50% refund can be obtained up until 7 days prior to the course date. For cancellations made within 7 days of the course date (up until the night before the class) a single date transfer will be offered, but no refund will be available. Transfers must be used within 6 months of the original course date.
